Stucco Products and Finishes
Acrylic Stucco Finish
Some other products we commonly use are Adex architectural coatings. Adex has several coatings available.
Their acrylic stucco finish has become a popular alternative finish coat for your stucco application. An acrylic finish increases crack resistance and decreases the surface permeability. When you choose an acrylic finish, you are choosing a smoother look with colour actually inside the acrylic and not applied to the surface. This colour is less susceptible to fading because the paint is part of the finish. There are also additives which preserve the colour. With acrylic stucco finish, no painting is required, although the stucco can be painted if desired at any time.
Rock Dash / Slop Dash Stucco Finish
A Rock Dash stucco finish has crushed rock or pebbles mixed directly into the stucco. Traditional Slop Dash stucco is a combination of cement, lime, sand and water. For both types of finishes, paint would be done after stucco application is complete. There are no restrictions on the paint colour options, which is one of the benefits of stucco – a wide variety of options for the final appearance.
California Stucco Finish
Choice Stucco offers a variety of California stucco finishes where appropriate. A California finish is a relatively smooth, simple, and economical finish.

Trim Mouldings for Stucco Installation
To compliment your stucco application, we would normally use trim and door mouldings that are custom made by either Fibre-Crown Mouldings or Patterson Whittaker Architectural Profiles and installed by Choice Stucco Ltd. Both Fibre-Crown and Patterson Whittaker products come in a variety of styles and sizes to meet your particular design needs. They are lightweight, easy to install, moisture resistant, and very durable.

Rain Screen Systems
Choice Stucco knows how important your home or business is to you. We also understand the importance of maintaining a watertight building envelope. That is why we use quality rain screen systems, including Keene Wall and Treated Strapping. Rain screen systems are commonly used in a commercial application.
Stucco Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (EIFS)
For commercial properties, an effective exterior insulation protective product can be applied as part of the stucco process. This process includes primus and fibreglass reinforcing mesh and an acrylic finish. This is a premium product that offers both style and a high insulation value which can reduce fixed energy costs.
Stucco is always a great choice for an exterior finish because it is so durable, fire resistant, and maintenance free. You put stucco on single-family homes, multi-family structures, and commercial buildings, either when the buildings are new or at a later date to refinish the exterior.
